Sample Policy for Colleges and Adult Education Organizations

Sample / "Desk Copy" Policy (updated 3/27/09)

Workplace Spanish, Inc. provides a limited number of samples for evaluation by colleges and accredited adult education organizations (e.g., school districts).

We do NOT provide sample copies to businesses, government organizations, non-profit groups, independent language schools, or individual instructors. Please do not request a sample unless you meet the criteria in the first paragraph.  All samples must be shipped to a college or school address.

1. Prospective new customers - can receive one sample copy at no charge (desk copy). Additional samples can be purchased at the discounted price of $20.00 each.

2. Ongoing customers - can receive samples at a rate commensurate with the amount of business they do with our company.

3. Sample Delivery – samples are shipped by mail within 48 hours. We do NOT ship samples by overnight or expedited delivery services for any reason.  If you need a sample this urgently, you should purchase a book from our website using a credit card and choose expedited shipping when you make the purchase.

4. Payment – if ordering paid samples and the amount is under $150.00  you must use a credit card for payment. We do accept purchase orders for orders less than $150.

5. Feedback – sample copies are a large expense. We will follow up in approximately 2 to 3 weeks elicit your comments, suggestions, expected use, etc.  If we do not receive your feedback, you will not be eligible for future samples.
