Our DVD is divided into two parts:

Part 1 (10 minutes) is the ideal length for sales presentations.  It's important for instructors as well since it covers: 

1. The growth of the Hispanic population and its effect on the workplace
   
   

2. The widespread need for a simple, but effective, method of cutting through the language barrier in the workplace
   
   

3. The differences between Workplace Spanish® and traditional academic Spanish
   
   

4. The advantages & benefits of Workplace Spanish® for time-stressed adult employees and supervisors
   
   

5. Reasonable expectations for organizations who conduct Workplace Spanish® training

Part 2 (15 minutes) walks the viewer through an actual Workplace Spanish® class and trainer session.  It covers helpful tips, do's and don'ts, and teaching guidelines for successful results.  It provides a number of snapshots into the fun and energy that should occur in WS training classes.

How to use our DVD effectively

First, look at it yourself.  If you are involved in marketing Workplace Spanish® courses, you need to understand the philosophy, advantages, expected results, etc.  Look at both parts so you understand what, why and how!

Second, show it to your program coordinators or sales staff.  They need the same information.  You can't sell what you don't understand.  This is not Spanish 101 or "conversational Spanish;"  it's different and it has its own niche. 

It's intended for people who are going to use what they learn – not for people who want to dabble in Spanish or those who want to learn the language in the traditional way.

Third, make sure all instructors view the entire DVD.  They need to invest 25 minutes of their time to understand the objectives, methodologies and mindset adjustments.  They are not teaching Spanish 101 — there is no need to "augment" our material with lists of verb conjugations, grammatical rules, etc.

OUR PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION WORKPLACE SITUATIONS— NOT TO TEACH THE LANGUAGE OF SPANISH IN AN ACADEMIC MANNER.

A few technical points

• this is a DVD, NOT a CD.  It will NOT play in a CD drive on your PC.  Your PC must have a DVD drive to play our DVD.  It will also play in any standard DVD player that plays movies.
  
  

• every brand of PC seems to use a different software program to play DVD's.  Some of the more common are Pinnacle on Dell laptops; RealPlayer; ASUS and Windows Media Player.
  
  
  Each of these programs has their own setup quirks, and in our testing we encountered a few problems.  After tweaking the computer software settings the DVD played fine.
  
  

• Since we cannot support difficulties with DVD software, please read your DVD software instructions carefully.  We have found that Windows Media Player- versions 9 and 10 do a fine job and they are free.

How to order additional DVD's

DVD's are only $11.95 each including shipping & handling.  They ship via US Mail; premium freight is not available.

They can be purchased from the Order Page on this website with a credit card.  There is a $100 minimum for purchase orders.  DVD's may be combined with other items to meet this requirement.
