RIGHTS OF USE FOR WORKPLACE SPANISH® MATERIALS

WORKPLACE SPANISH® MATERIALS (“MATERIALS”) ARE PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT AND INTERNATIONAL TREATIES.   MATERIALS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, MANUALS, AUDIO RECORDINGS, POCKET CARDS AND OTHER PRODUCTS PUBLISHED OR MANUFACTURED BY WORKPLACE SPANISH, INC.

YOUR RIGHTS TO USE WORKPLACE SPANISH® MATERIALS ARE LIMITED BY THE RESTRICTIONS DESCRIBED BELOW.  ANY UNAUTHORIZED USE SHALL CONSTITUTE COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, AND WILL SUBJECT YOU TO SEVERE PENALTIES.

YOU MAY:  
Make a copy of the Materials strictly for use as overhead transparencies for purposes of instructing a class for whom you have purchased Materials or a license to use Materials.  Transparencies can only be used for the class for whom you have purchased Materials.

YOU MAY NOT:

  1. Rename the Materials or use any name for the Materials that is not used by Workplace Spanish, Inc.  The name that applies to all Materials is "Workplace Spanish® for xxxx".  You may not rename them generically (e.g., "Spanish for xxxx") or by any other name.  If you are using our Materials, you must use our trademarked name with them;

  2. Modify or create derivative works based on the Materials, except as may be expressly authorized in writing by Workplace Spanish, Inc.  For example, you may not use our Materials to create a PowerPoint presentation that will be used to instruct a group or class;

  3. Translate the Materials or Authorized Derivative Works into another language, nor may you use them in reverse, i.e., from Spanish into English without the express written consent of Workplace Spanish, Inc.;

  4. Use the Materials or Authorized Derivative Works in a "virtual classroom setting" such as web or online training or video-conferencing;

  5. Merge the Materials or Authorized Derivative Works with another product in any form, including without limitation, printed text or computer software programs or databases; or

  6. Remove or obscure any proprietary rights notices or labels on copies of the Materials or Authorized Derivative Works.
     
  7. Copy, input, scan, record or reproduce these materials in any format, known or future, for use by others or for redistribution without a specific written license agreement that authorizes you to do so.
