A. Why Choose Workplace Spanish®
classes or materials?
Business understanding. Not just language
know-how.
With over 30 years experience in operations,
logistics, HR, training, sales & marketing, and general management, we
understand workplace needs and focus on this type of communication – not
language for language sake.
Job-specific
Vocabulary.
Our programs go beyond "conversational Spanish" -- they focus on important
workplace expressions that improve communication, teamwork, service and
productivity.
Upbeat, interactive, classes.
No dull boring classes here. Our training is energetic, interactive
and fun. We teach using lots of repetition, drills, practice
conversations, role-play, and games to get everyone involved.
It's easy! (well, almost). No grammar, no verb conjugation,
no prior Spanish experience necessary! Instead of teaching "the entire
language" as taught in school, we focus on workplace communication needs
using "bite-size" terms and phrases. Less to learn, easier to use.
B. In the
Metro
Atlanta area . . .
We are located in the metro Atlanta area
and teach ONLY in this area. See below for classes outside the metro
Atlanta area.
Workplace Spanish®
has conducted customized language training classes for over
3,000 people — from police officers to construction supervisors to bankers
to nurses.
Our classes are energetic,
interactive and real-world. No grammar, no rules, no verb conjugation! We
teach using repetition, quick-drills, and lots of role-play scenarios. Training
is customized to meet your needs.

Tools for your Trainers
If you have instructors
that you would like to become proficient in teaching Workplace Spanish®
classes, we suggest purchasing our
instructional DVD (Selling & Teaching Workplace Spanish®).
This along with our "Teaching Guidelines" is a
cost-effective way to familiarize your internal trainers with
our teaching methods & techniques.
D. If
you don't have the time or budget for classes . . .
SELF-STUDY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL - Consider purchasing
the appropriate Workplace Spanish® manual with a
Click It™ CD-ROM. This will provide you with a written manual for
reading and studying, an audio CD for listening in the car/truck, and a
CD-ROM for computer use. All 3 elements are designed to work together so you can
identify, prioritize and practice what you need to learn.
FOR A COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION - A frequent problem is having the time
and budget for Spanish training classes. If you
can't overcome these hurdles but still need to have your associates develop
basic Spanish skills, let us suggest this:
- Purchase the appropriate manuals and audio CD's for your associates.
Give them to the people who need them the most. Leave a few in a
"library" where they are available for interested associates to use
- Purchase a network version of the appropriate
Click It™ program to
install on your local network to be available for those employees who need
to learn Workplace Spanish®. It's easy to use and requires no special
software, hardware or IT customization -
read more about it.
- We have developed a 3 to 4-hour "Intro Course" to learning Workplace
Spanish® using Click It™ as the primary learning tool. You can either
have a community college or language school instructor facilitate this
course — or use an internal bilingual associate if they have the skills &
personality to do this.
