Spanish Learning Programs for Government

Workplace Spanish® can provide cost-effective answers to your Spanish communication needs. Designed for “basic, effective communication” without grammar and long learning cycles, associates can use what they have learned immediately. No grammar, no rules to memorize, no prior Spanish training necessary.

We offer five different programs for key government functions and departments. Our materials are easy to use and are appropriate for either self-study or class training. Click on the links below to get detailed information and samples from each particular program.

City & County Government is a customer service program that includes topics for licenses & permits, parks and recreation, libraries, street repairs, and water utilities. It also includes the general conversational topics that are important to make Hispanic citizens and business owners feel welcome and valued.

Firefighters & EMS is the program for fire and rescue personnel including 911 dispatchers. Topics and terms zero in on the need to get or communicate information quickly in life-threatening situations.

Court Systems enables judges, court clerks and administrative staff to discuss basic information on issues like fines & penalties, court locations, dates, and procedures. This is not a program for court interpreters who translate testimony and instructions during a trial or procedure.

Law Enforcement is used by the Las Vegas Police Dept., the Nashville Police Dept. and the FBI among many others. It is an outstanding program developed by officers who are in the field everyday.

Corrections Officers is our latest criminal justice program. Still fairly new, it has been developed by corrections officers and has been used in the state of Pennsylvania.

Teachers & School Administrators is an extremely popular program for K12 teachers and school staff to help communicate with Spanish-speaking students and their parents.
